WARROAD, Minn. – September 29, 2017 – As part of the Discovery and Development Hub’s ongoing efforts to build upon community strengths and encourage collaboration among Warroad-area businesses, the second Entrepreneur Exchange will be hosted on Thursday, October 12 from12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Discovery and Development Hub. The event is open to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the area, and is free to attend. Attendees will be treated with a pizza lunch from Nomad Tavern.

The featured business is Lake Country Chevrolet. Now owned by Chris “Lumpy” Kvarnlov and his wife, Stacy, Lake Country recently transferred business ownership to the next generation, and will share experiences on preparations to own the business, the transition to new ownership, and lessons learned along the way. The dealership was previously owned by Chris’ father, Mike Kvarnlov, and uncle, Mark Johnson. Prior to that, it was Johnson Chevrolet. With a focus on repeat and referral business and an unwavering commitment to earning a customer for life, Lake Country has a long and rich history serving Warroad and the surrounding communities.

The Entrepreneur Exchange serves as an avenue for entrepreneurs, mentors and community members to gather together to educate, engage and connect. These events focus on a single business and include an introduction on the featured business, followed by the business sharing their journey and lessons learned, and conclude with a question and answer session.
